EMPLOYERS ALERT:
Based on recent W.A.V.E.S.™ * results, we are seeing a trend you should be aware of... 45% of employees are dissatisfied overall with their current position. Depending on the company, the reasons vary. Let's look at the trend so far for companies in 2010!

CHART 1: The ten lowest scoring questions so far in 2010 fell into one of these categories:

CHART 2: Company A scored between "somewhat good" and "good" in all areas with their lowest areas being in communication and company benefits. Company B scored on average in the "somewhat poor" to "somewhat good" range. The question isn't will they leave, but how quickly will Company B's employees be able to find a new position in a competing company due to horrible communication and bad management that they are currently experiencing? Unnecessary turnover like this is very expen$ive.



REAL RESPONSES: There are 3 open ended questions in the survey.
Here are real employee responses from our example.

POSITIVE: "I have been very impressed with some of the ideas from upper management. I truly believe these individuals want myself and the company to be successful. They do a very good job of pointing out when, as an employee, you have done well with tasks. This really helps with morale and makes me want to do my job the best I possibly can."

NEGATIVE: "COMMUNICATION. There is NONE! and when we ask questions we receive answers as though we are stupid and 5 years old. MY MANAGER IS A TERRIBLE MANAGER, HE SNAPS HIS FINGERS AT EMPLOYEES. YELLS AT EMPLOYEES FOR NO REASON, HAS NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON AT ANY TIME."
